Today at Sprout a woman told me I was brave to be out and about with a new baby and a 19 month old. I had to laugh and wonder what she would think of my home girl who is currently driving across the country with her 3 year old twins (and blogging about it). Did I mention that they were 3 years old!?! And she is driving alone across the country with them? I am awed and super thrilled that we made her itinerary and so freaking excited to see her.

Ha! Now I’m laughing with you. I think about all the mothers in Darfur.
Seriously, I think about them. Their daily lives are all about bravery; mine is about whining about how this hotel isn’t as nice as the one last night – poor me.

Okay, no fair comparing my life to moms in Darfur as that means I will never be able to whine again about things like no naps, toddlers dropping first their yogurt at the park and then being thrilled that Pearl snarfed it up so fed all their sesame sticks and then cried the entire walk back about being hungry….
